Thinking about Dr. King's use of non-violence to protest...
The fact that Dr. King advocated non-violence and never struck back at his attackers made some people mad.

1) Do you think that Dr. King's use of non-violence contributed to his death?  Did it make people madder at him?  (would James Earl Ray have been less likely to get mad and kill him?)

2) What do you think Dr. King could have accomplished had he lived to our time?
(i.e., could he have been President?  do you think he would have ran for President?  what other causes would he have supported?)
