Hello My Name Is...

Ms. Hamel

I am the Title III/EL coordinator for the district and teach ESL at Wilkinson Middle School. I also coach the Wilkinson cheer team. Go Wildcats! This is my eighth year teaching and my third year working for Madison District Public Schools. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a French major and an English minor. In 2008, I began working on my Masters at Oakland University, during which time I received an ESL endorsement. In 2010, I graduated from OU with a Master of Arts in Linguistics. As you can see, I am extremely passionate about languages :)
